S & D Private Hire was formed in 2003 and has a large of fleet private hire vehicles. We operate vehicles ranging from private hire vehicles, hackney carriages, wheelchair accessible vehicles, 6-7 seated people carriers, 8-16 seated minibuses, executive cars.

1)    Internet booking – this service enables the customer to manage their own taxi bookings via the internet, this facility allows the tracking and  progress of any job as it is being carried out.  

2)    The majority of our accounts now receive their invoices by e-mail on a weekly or monthly basis. 

All our vehicles are fitted with a navigation facility and GPS, a satellite system that enables our telephonist to quote an accurate arrival time for your booking.

Ringback Service.

S & D Private Hire uses the latest communication technology. One of the tools we have is our Ringback Service, which is a FREE service. The staff at S & D Private Hire are constantly aware that clients may be outside in foul weather, or waiting late at night for their vehicle to arrive.

S & D Private Hire uses a call back facility called "Ringback" which automatically calls the customer and leaves a missed call on their chosen number when their vehicle is outside. This means the customer does not have to wait outside, in inclement weather or late at night, waiting for their vehicle to arrive.

When you book your vehicle, simply let the Operator know that you would like Ringback and upon arrival at your pick up point, the Ringback system will ring you to let you know that your vehicle is outside. This is an invaluable tool that saves you having to wait outside or constantly check to see if your vehicle has arrived.
